Company bio

Like many other innovative ideas, building a fun and effective language app appeared out of our need. In 2017, Co-Founder Simon arrived in Thailand with the necessity to learn the language. However, at the time, there were no online resources that would provide the expected results. Taking the reins to generate an app of his own, Simon used his knowledge in mobile application development. Along with his wife and Co-Founder of the company, Kanyarat, they produced Ling App after a fulfilling learning and development process. Due to its attractive features and high effectiveness, Ling quickly became popular among people whose purpose was to learn Thai. Today, Ling has become the trusted language-learning resource for millions of users worldwide. Including those who want to study less common languages not found in other language apps. We are glad to say that we have helped people learn something new every day. Our mission is “to enable people to learn something new every day, anywhere.” We are glad and proud to see travelers use Ling to increase their skills and communicate with the locals. We are happy that millions of users can now learn less-spoken languages such as Thai, Serbian, Lithuanian, Bengali, or Albanian.
