The original idea for Food for Thought came from Adam Palmer and his 10+ years of restaurant and hospitality experience. He currently owns two restaurants, The Pita Pit in Philadelphia, PA and State College, Pa (Penn State). He has planned and directed countless marketing campaigns and is constantly using creativity combined with technology to innovate the restaurant industry. In 1996, 15 years before the deal a day craze, Adam had created Hamptons Saver; a website devoted to saving people money in the Hamptons. 15 years later Groupon happened. Go figure. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University Smeal College of Business. When Food for Thought isn’t on his mind, he’s biking around Philadelphia and thinking of his next entrepreneurial endeavor.
