Introducing the YEC Groups Program
YEC is thrilled to announce an exciting new program that we hope will make our community more connected than ever before — the YEC Groups program. YEC co-founder Ryan Paugh says, “In times of crisis like this, we can’t think of a more important effort to make our community stronger.”
Each group will be led by a YEC chair — a volunteer YEC member who will convene events and connect with members in specific locations. They’ll also be available to help members in their groups with connections, support, and resources, offering a smaller-group dynamic within the larger YEC community.
Founding chairs have already been recruited:
- Connor Tomkies (Dallas-Ft. Worth)
- Dalip Jaggi (OC)
- Dan Golden (Chicago)
- Daniel Lucas (Atlanta)
- Ian Blair (San Diego)
- Jessica Moseley (Washington, DC)
- Jinny Oh (San Francisco)
- Joey Kercher (Denver)
- Phil Laboon (Pittsburgh)
- Ryan O'Connell (Kansas City)
- Ryan Tansom (Twin Cities)
- Shama Hyder (Marketing & PR).
- Erik Huberman (LA)
- Patrick Barnhill (Miami)
- Raad Ahmed (New York)
- Evan Kirkpatrick (Financial Services)
Look forward to learning more about these members on the blog in upcoming weeks.
Due to COVID-19 safety measures, the first YEC Groups events will be virtual! “YEC Quarantined” virtual discussion groups are already ramping up.
We’re so excited to get this program off the ground at a time when all of us are looking for a little more support. As Jessica Moseley, one of our founding chairs, says, "I am extremely grateful to see that at time like this we become stronger together. My hope is that after all of this is said and done, we will emerge better, stronger and more equipped as leaders."
More cities will be announced soon, and future YEC Groups events will be included on our events page. If you’d like to be considered as a YEC chair, please contact concierge to learn more about the responsibilities and benefits of the position.
