About Drew
I started my first business at ten, fixing computers for neighbors. Detailing cars at fifteen. Third generation in a family that sold cars and furniture, so I grew up around people who built things and then had to answer for them. I came to law late and by a strange route. I toured as a club DJ and produced events before I finished at The Ohio State University and then law school. None of it was wasted. It taught me how to read a room, which turns out to be most of the job. Outside the work, my life is a garage and a kitchen. I rebuild Saabs, which is a slow way to learn patience. Amber and I cook most nights with three dogs underfoot: Creed, Aero, and Gaia. We travel whenever the calendar allows it. What I am working on right now is building companies that do not depend on me being the single point of failure. I have been the bottleneck in everything I have built. The fix has been systems, most of them AI, most of them running on a rack of Mac minis in my house instead of someone else's cloud. Before you sit down with me: I am direct, I move fast, and I would rather give you the real answer than the comfortable one.
