I'm the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Pure Adapt, Inc located in Albany, NY. We own DetailedImage.com, one of the largest online retailers of high-end car care supplies in the US. We do almost everything in-house, from web design, development, and marketing, to logistics and order fulfillment at their warehouse in Guilderland, NY. I spend most of my time managing the company's web development (utilizing PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, MySQL, and more) while also spending considerable time on warehouse operations, web marketing, and customer service. I write about my entrepreneurial journey at AdamMcFarland.com, amassing over 1,000 posts since 2005. I frequently speak to business students at local colleges, focusing on the pros and cons of entrepreneurship as a career choice. I co-taught "Web Venturing and Entrepreneurship" at James Madison University, a class for senior level business students with no prior business experience. The class guided students through the process of starting their very first web business.
