About

Automating a process to provide value at scale is my favorite part of business. Take an unreachable and daunting experience, and present it in a simplified manner while automating the underlying services. The purpose of CheerSounds is to help cheerleading coaches find or create music that enhances their team's presentation and performance. We achieved this by developing a highly automated SaaS system for music arrangement and distribution, and by building a private record label to create audio content to license. I have two patents pending in this area, and one patent awarded. The acceptance of CheerSounds' method resulted in an industry shift toward licensed music from 2014-2016, earning a spotlight feature in Cheer Biz News in 2014, as well as being selected for Cheer Biz News' "35 under 35" in both 2015 and 2016. Additionally, I am a board member of the USASF National Advisory Board, serving terms from 2015-present. My education is from Northeastern University; I have a BS in Computer Science with a minor in Music Industry. I have a wonderful wife who helped me start the business in the early years, and three children.

17 members of YEC share effective tactics for gathering together leaders in a way that will lead to actual productivity and strategizing. For a business to thrive it needs its leaders to be able to communicate, plan and execute effectively. In order to do this, it’s vital for leaders to gather together — whether in person or virtually — to discuss plans and exchange ideas. For most leaders, these meetings are a chance to have their say in how the business runs. And with companies these days looking at ways to pivot and take advantage of a new business environment, it's not strange to see companies branching out to find more creative ways to bring leaders together. In the past, boardrooms or conference venues were the preferred meeting point for leaders. But as busy executives, it can be challenging to find a time that works for everyone. And even if you can get together, meetings that don’t have a game plan may not always lead to the most productive conversation. Below, 17 members of YEC look at different creative ways business leaders can gather together for effective strategizing and conversation.
