Sumi Krishnan

As Founder and CEO of K4 Solutions, Inc., Ms. Krishnan is a 12-year veteran of the government contracting world and has served in every position from Program Manager to Marketing Director to President. She started K4 Solutions, Inc. in 2001 and has since grown the business into the $20M business it is today. She attributes her success primarily to brilliant mentorship and her unyielding curiosity and drive for understanding. She has faced numerous challenges along the way, but cut her teeth early in her career with her first business challenge being that of hiring, training and managing 75 employees in a period of two weeks to serve HHS/CMS. Since then, and together with her management team, she has won and managed programs for a number of Federal agencies including Homeland Security and the US Army. Ms. Krishnan is passionate about connecting with people -- her employees, partners, and clients. She is driven by her desire to make a difference for the better and believes in being generous enough to oneself to take adequate time out for sleep, rejuvenation, exercise and meditation. She currently volunteers some of her time to Higher Achievement to mentor disadvantaged students and has a passion for developing a peaceful and healthy lifestyle.
