Prior to founding NewFoundry, Rich was a founding executive at Mobiata, a mobile app development shop that focused on travel apps with awards garnered for their FlightTrack, FlightBoard, and Expedia Itinerary products. Expedia purchased Mobiata in 2010. Rich also held various roles at Arbor Networks, a leading network security provider, and Advanced Network Services, the company that brought the original public Internet backbone to the masses. Rich is very passionate about and holds seat and chairman roles on various boards focused on workforce development, economic growth, and community building.
