Naveed Lalani is a serial entrepreneur and currently the Founder and CEO of Portable Boutique Inc., a company that creates Plug & Play Bitcoin Widgets. He has experience working with companies from Fortune 500 to Fortune 5 million in branding, product strategy, marketing, business development, creative direction and user experience design. Naveed has dipped his feet in angel investing; investing in Oha.na, a private social network for families, whose team was acquired by Facebook. Naveed was the Chief Strategy Officer at DonorNation.org, a philanthropic marketplace that helps to support local schools and businesses committed to the greater good. In this role, he helped in pivoting the company to the education market, hiring key executives, and raising seed financing. Prior to DonorNation.org, Naveed co-founded Rally.org (originally Piryx.com), a social giving platform used by non-profits, political campaigns and social entrepreneurs around the globe. He oversaw the platform and developer strategy at Rally.org, in addition to wearing many hats throughout the founding and growth phases. Rally.org received backing from leading venture capitalists including Floodgate Fund, Greylock Partners, SV Angel and Google Ventures. Naveed currently gives back through his leadership roles with several non-profit organizations, including serving as an advisor to the Thiel Fellowship’s 20 Under 20 Program and as the National Program Manager for the Professional Ventures Program at the Ismaili Professionals Network leading the IPN Bootcamp and IPN LaunchPad initiatives. Naveed received his Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007; graduating with High Honors and receiving the Eva Stevenson Woods Endowed Presidential Scholarship and GSD&M Endowed Presidential Scholarship in Advertising.
