Mamie Kanfer Stewart is the Founder and CEO of Meeteor (www.meeteor.com), a company designed to empower organizations to leverage their meetings to drive productivity, build a healthy company culture, and achieve greater results. Meeteor offers trainings, courses, coaching and more. Mamie is also the author of Momentum: Creating Effective, Engaging and Enjoyable Meetings (www.meeteor.com/momentum) and host of The Modern Manager podcast (www.mamieks.com/podcast). Mamie is passionate about helping others optimize their time and talents to achieve their mission. She writes and speaks about meeting best practices, team collaboration, and productivity, specifically through the lens of smart processes, human flourishing and great technology tools. Prior to founding Meeteor, Mamie consulted with non-profit organizations on staffing and strategic planning. Mamie is Chair of Bend the Arc: A Jewish Partnership for Justice, and a board member of Luria Academy. She also serves on two family foundations, Lippman Kanfer Family Foundation and Lippman Kanfer Foundation for Living Torah. Mamie was a 2016 Lives of Commitment Honoree by Auburn Seminary, which honors outstanding leaders of faith and moral courage who bridge divides, build community, pursue justice and heal the world. She received an MBA from Stern Graduate School of Business at New York University and a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two daughters. When not working to improve the world, you might find Mamie leading a piano sing-a-long.
