About

Born in Medellin, Colombia, I first arrived in Tampa, FL at age 10 where I spent the first 2 years racing BMX. Following that, I started school where I learned English very quickly and started navigating through the American culture and lifestyle. I graduated with honors from Sickles High School in Tampa, FL and the University of Florida where I acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial & Systems, "Go Gators!" I was involved in the soccer team, Army ROTC, played center snare drum in the Florida drumline, lead different organizations like SHPE, IIE, and founded the Society of Sales Engineers. Before graduation, I completed 3 internships within GE Aviation in manufacturing, design, and operational roles in cities around the U.S. Upon graduation, I started my career with ExxonMobil as an Industrial & Commercial Vehicle lubricant sales engineer. After this, I moved on to work for Eaton corporation first as a technical sales engineer, then OEM account engineer, and now I am a Global project engineer handling Latin America and the Caribbean. Coming from having a lot in Colombia to having a lack of resources here in the USA due to starting all over, I have always been obsessed with how individuals cross the boundary between the middle class and the rich. How does someone think? How does someone manage their finances? With this in mind, I studied consistently and read many books in this subject, studying successful individuals. I observed that real estate was almost always, if not always, a big majority of people's portfolio and wealth accelerator. JM11 Investments, LLC was founded 3 years ago. In the short time, I have raised over $1 million in capital, acquired 5 properties, became a real estate agent and a general contractor. Today, I am known in my market and a leader in this field.

One of the most significant elements in helping a business get to know its customers is their data. Over recent years, consumers have started to take notice of how businesses use their data. While many aren't bothered, a few are against a company getting its hands on their information. As a result, they are averse to sharing access to their data. By limiting the data you collect to just the most pertinent bits, you will still be able to extract useful knowledge about clients while also  earning their trust for not asking access to all of their information. To help businesses wondering what kind of data to collect, we asked 13 professionals from Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC) the following question:
