Joshua Golden

Josh Golden is a digital business strategist and serial entrepreneur who combines a penchant for big-picture strategic thinking with the digital know-how to get things done. He currently serves as Founder and CEO of Table XI, an eleven-year-old digital strategy consultancy in Chicago that works for clients such as Roger Ebert, the YMCAs of Chicago and New York City, Northwestern University, the University of Illinois, and The Noble Network of Charter Schools. Under Josh’s leadership, Table XI has grown into an interdisciplinary team of thirty five employees and worked in a wide variety of industries, including specialty retail, manufacturing, event ticketing, healthcare, education, and media. The organization has also backed numerous startups, either as an equity investor, conception-stage service provider, or mentor, including PUSH Wellness Solutions, MyCouponDoc, Real Talent, Dawdle.com, SeatExchange.com, CMI Foods, and many others. Beyond Table XI, Josh is actively involved in other entrepreneurial endeavors. In 2010 he co-founded and invested in Pegmo, an online and mobile platform for the creation of customer engagement campaigns for brands and local businesses. With Josh’s help and guidance, Pegmo built a team, raised external capital, brought a product to market, and sold to a large, publicly-traded marketing agency in 2012, delivering a positive return to investors. He is also the co-founder of LookTap, a stealth startup in the mobile/social space. Perpetually active in the entrepreneurial community, in 2009 Josh co-founded ID8, a group of active and aspiring entrepreneurs who come together to discuss ideas and help each other succeed. Josh has also been a regular in University of Chicago professional development events, helping undergraduates explore whether a career in entrepreneurship is right for them.
