About
Ms Gibson is CEO and Co-Founder at Ariel Precision Medicine, an integrated genomics and digital health company, founded to help patients with complex chronic diseases by using genetics and health information to model the mechanisms and drivers of disease. This permits clinicians to establish an early diagnosis, long-term prognosis and targeted management plan. In 2017 Ms Gibson launched Ariel's first genetic test PancreasDx®, the most comprehensive genetic tests for pancreatic disease and Ariel's proprietary platform, which leverages machine learning and data analytics so that a patient's health information and biomarker activity can be updated, enabling new insight into disease progression and activity. Prior to accepting the CEO position, Ms Gibson served as Chief Commercial Officer for Ariel where she lead the development of strategic relationships with industry partners, international KOLs as well as marketing and product development. Ms. Gibson decided to found Ariel after establishing herself as a leader in the biotechnology and Pharma industry, where she developed strong foundation of sales, customer development, medical marketing and a number of successful product launches. Before entering industry, Ms. Gibson worked in GI research, in the clinical setting as a paramedic and volunteered with the cancer institute. She received her executive MBA from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh. -As the child of a chronically ill parent, I know the challenges and seeming hopelessness of long term illness. I am driven to make a difference and be the change I want to see in the world.
