At age 23, he launched a valet trash & recycling service for apartment communities. The company grew to serve more than 20,000 apartments per week across 3 states before a successful exit via acquisition in 2018. Today, Jesse is Founder of Epicurean Properties, a boutique corporate housing company that operates a portfolio of mid-term rentals (furnished month-to-month apartments) in Columbus, Ohio. Outside of work, he enjoys travel research, trying new restaurants, and relaxing at home.

Being able to close a deal is a crucial part of an entrepreneur’s skill set, but sometimes, vendor agreements and partnerships can fall through due to unavoidable circumstances. Knowing that a deal is about to fall through before that actually happens can be quite beneficial for a company, as it gives the opportunity to choose its next steps in advance: pursue the agreement more aggressively, back off and let it fail, or do nothing and see if it corrects itself.
