Barrett is a strategic leader with proven tactical success in challenging entrepreneurial environments. Under his leadership, the team and company are generating exponential growth and have made the Inc. Magazine’s list of 5000 Fastest Growing Companies for the past three years (2015, 2016, 2017). In this role, Barrett is responsible for all aspects of the company including sales, operations, talent representation, finance, marketing, innovation, as well as making key investment decisions for the growth of the business. Barrett also leads, mentors and manages BigSpeak’s world-class team ensuring growth is sustainable and congruous with cultural values. He is dead serious about a happy, healthy, and passionate culture. Prior to joining BigSpeak, Barrett attended the University of Southern California and Leonardo da Vinci School in Florence, Italy, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Barrett draws on previous professional experience in the Internet space as an Account Representative for Commission Junction (a Conversant company), from the hotel/resort industry as a manager for the Four Seasons Biltmore of Santa Barbara and from the non-profit sector as a volunteer and Board Appointments. Past and current clients include Google, Nike, YMCA, SAS, Chevron, American Airlines, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Rack Space, BlackRock, Ford, UHC, Siemens, Northern Trust, John Deere, Lego, and many other Fortune 500. He currently serves as a Board Member of The Channel Islands YMCA and is a member of the Young Professionals Organization (YPO). Barrett resides in Santa Barbara, Ca. with his wife, Catherine.
