In the past, he has worked in the tax and regulatory practice regimes of both PricewaterhouseCoopers Pvt Ltd (PwC) and Ernst and Young Pvt Ltd (E&Y) wherein he advised and assisted clients with host of issues like Expatriate assignments, FDI Policy, India entry strategy, setting up offices in India, cross border tax structuring, transfer pricing, mergers & acquisitions, inbound and outbound investment structuring, fund structuring, NRI taxation, tax controversy matters and other regulatory matters. With a professional experience spanning over 15 years, he leads the firm’s business development initiatives especially in the corridors of commerce between India and China (including the PRC of Taiwan), Germany, United Kingdom and the Middle East. Anant is also the Regional President (Asia – Pacific) for ADAM Global, viz a global network of finance, auditing and taxation professionals. The role assigned to him and the team primarily comprise enhancement of the footprint of the organization within the region and deeper member engagement. Anant has been an active speaker at forums, both domestic and international, addressing challenges faced by players from the Agri-science and Agri – formulations businesses wanting to offshore their manufacturing operations to India. Apart from the above, Anant is an active member of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in India and also holds coveted positions with the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) in India, wherein he supports business owners and entrepreneurs with the business and operational challenges emanating from a finance perspective.
