Adam Keune is Co-Founder of Higher Learning Technologies, an edtech company that specializes in training healthcare students and professionals. HLT has grown from 3 friends with an idea to an award winning educational platform used by millions of students and professionals from every country in the world. While he has worn many hats during HLT’s rapid growth, Adam has primarily focused his time on business development, fundraising, and building out a team of individuals who share a passion for improving education. Some of his accolades include raising over $20MM in capital, establishing marketing channels that now engage with tens of millions of users monthly, and forming key partnerships with educational publishers, universities and healthcare organizations as well as government organizations. Some of these partners include Johnson & Johnson, American Dental Association, American Nursing Association, Wiley Publishing, McGraw-Hill Education and Kaplan. Outside of HLT, Adam serves on numerous Boards including the University of Iowa John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center, the Iowa Innovation Council, Co-Chair of the Iowa Edtech Initiative and Vice Chair of the Iowa City Area Business Partnership. He also provides coaching and mentoring to numerous startups around the country. In addition to work and volunteering, Adam enjoys spending time with his family and friends, international travel, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes!
