Roberto Angulo Releases Book, Getting Your First Job for Dummies

CEO Roberto Angulo and the team at AfterCollege are pleased to announce the recent release of Getting Your First Job for Dummies, a book aimed at helping job seekers find their first job.

AfterCollege is the leading career network for college students and recent grads, helping students discover relevant jobs and internships based on their educational background and preferences. This book talks about knowing yourself before looking for a job and offers tips and resources for the job-seeking process.

Flux Ventures Recognized as One of the ‘Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America’ by Entrepreneur Magazine

Flux Ventures, a conglomerate of various consumer-centric companies, was recently recognized on the Entrepreneur 360 list. YEC member Alejandro Rioja serves as chairman at Flux Ventures.

Every year, Entrepreneur recognizes 360 small businesses that are mastering the art and science of growing a business. Companies are evaluated based on four metrics: impact, innovation, growth and leadership.

Says Rioja: “We are very thrilled and thankful for the recognition. At Flux we strive to build businesses that can make a global impact and grow quickly.”

Baby2Body Launches First Advocacy Campaign, Shape Your Pregnancy

Baby2Body, led by CEO and founder Melinda Nicci, launched its first advocacy campaign called Shape Your Pregnancy. This global platform seeks to empower women to shape their pregnancy their way. The campaign is aimed at inspiring women on a global scale to help them stay fit and healthy during pregnancy and beyond, and ultimately to create a generation of healthier babies.

Says Nicci: “Now is the time. We’re busting the myths around exercise in pregnancy and taking control of the conversation to say: active pregnancies are healthier pregnancies. We’ve created this global platform to empower women with the confidence, tools, and knowledge to shape their pregnancy their way.”
