YEC member company Klickly, led by YEC member Cooper Harris, was selected to participate in the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity’s Start-Up Academy. The streamlined purchasing and donations platform was one of only four U.S. companies chosen.
As part of the Lions Innovation festival, in conjunction with Google Zoo and IPG’s star agency, R/GA, the startup showcase helps companies better position their value propositions to the world’s biggest brands, advertisers and publishing groups.
The 5-day program offered insight from prominent speakers, and participants had the chance to pitch their product or service to a long lineup of key brand and agency decision-makers. The program culminated with a presentation on the Google main stage to an audience of hundreds of potential customers and partners.
When asked about the experience, Cooper said: “In a span of five days, we met, learned from, pitched to, and socialized with over 100 of the most senior execs and influencers from the biggest brands, agencies, and media holding groups in the world. Not only do they now know of Klickly, but because of the one-on-one meetings facilitated by the Lions startup program, they’re actively promoting us to their teams!”
The Lions Innovation festival showcases and supports promising startups while bringing entrepreneurs, investors, brand leaders and storytellers together to bring new ideas to life.
