Congratulations to YEC member Neil Patel, founder of KISSmetrics, for being ranked as No. 3 on Bloggers Passion’s “Top 10 Online Marketing Gurus You Must Follow To Succeed Online.” The list highlights the top Internet marketing experts who are successful in SEO, blogging and online branding.

We were excited to hear that YEC member Jason Grill will be speaking at SXSW this March. The mentor panel will focus on how startups and businesses can better interact with the media and press. Learn more here.

Phil Laboon‘s new public access TV show The Pittsburgh Tech Talk is now live! Visit the Facebook page to watch a new interview every week. If you live in Pittsburgh, Phil will also be broadcasting to 90,000+ homes via PCTV in February.

Joel Holland‘s company VideoBlocks was featured in the Forbes article, “Upstart Stock Video Company Gets Validation From Cable Powerhouse Discovery.” The piece highlights the company’s business model, noting it makes all of its money through annual membership fees that gives customers access to that content.

eLearningMind co-founder Simon Casuto recently wrote an article for Tech.co. In the piece “How Top Fortune 500 Companies Are Using eLearning to Increase Office Productivity,” Simon discusses how to improve employee productivity during the work day.

YEC member company Site Lock is looking for an Inside Sales Representative and a Technical Support Agent to join the team. President Neill Feather is looking for someone with strong sales and negotiation skills to introduce and cross-sell products and services over the phone.
