She joined The Mark Gordon Company as mega-producer Mark Gordon’s assistant. In 2009, she was promoted to Creative Executive in Film & New Media where she developed feature films and new media properties. In 2010, she was promoted again to Director of Development where she is currently co-producing her first feature film, DESPERADOS starring Isla Fisher with Universal Pictures.
Shara had been developing her Intern Sushi venture on the side and decided in 2010 to combine forces with Mark. From there she began building her team and her business. Shara is also the founder of Script It, one of Los Angeles’ largest screenwriting organizations designed for work shopping and developing screenplays.
